When choosing a bracelet, length isn’t as much of a stylistic concern as it is with a necklace. The length of a bracelet won’t really affect how you wear it, you just want something that fits well. The easiest way to do this is just to measure your wrist with a measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler. Measure it wrapped flush with your wrist then order the size 1cm up from that measurement to ensure it’s not too tight. If you can’t be bothered to measure, I’d recommend 21cm for males and 19cm for women. Note that the clasp on my Ashen, Orion, Slate, and Ignis bracelets can be clipped onto any link to shorten the bracelet. Because of this, you should order a size up in these chains if you’re not sure. Here are 20cm bracelets on the average male and female wrist for a visual size reference. 6.5mm curb chain in Italian 925 sterling silver with anti-tarnish coating.
This is the chain you wear when you want people to know you’re wearing a chain. Where the Ignis whispers, the Slate speaks up. Classic curb link at a weight that means business, but without trying to be a rapper.
I don’t wear this one daily. It’s for when I want something with more presence. When a Figaro feels too subtle. The curb pattern is pure repetition, no variation, consistent silver catching light with every movement.
At 6.5mm, it’s substantial enough to stand alone. Don’t layer this unless you’re committed to the full metal look. The twisted and flattened links create this dense, almost liquid appearance when they move.
Anti-tarnish coating keeps it looking fresh regardless of how often you reach for it. Unisex in theory, but this reads masculine. Not exclusively, just predominantly.
Some chains snap because they use hollow tubing. I only stock solid link chains that I have personally stress-tested. If I wouldn’t wear it, I won’t sell it.
Pairs with the matching Slate Necklace if you’re going all in.
