Made to order.
All Urban Sterling pieces are made to order. No stock sitting in warehouses.
When you place an order for a ring, I start immediately. I create the wax model here in the Newcastle studio, then send it to my casting partners in Sydney. Within a week, the raw cast arrives back where I finish it by hand: cutting, sanding, buffing, polishing, oxidising.
Once it’s done, it goes into a box with your order number. I pack the documentation, sign the certificate of authenticity, wax seal it, and send it straight to you.
These pieces are made to carry meaning and last a lifetime. Keeping them in a stock cupboard would feel disrespectful to that.
Shipping times.
These are rough estimates. For current lead times based on how busy the studio is, check the homepage.
Rings: ~7-12 business days (domestic) / ~15-20 business days (international)
Chains: ~4-5 business days (domestic) / ~12 business days (international)
Both: Shipped together to reduce waste and simplify dispatch. Your chain ships with your ring.
Buy Now, Size Later: Production starts when you send me your size. You’ll receive a ring sizer first via Auspost express (domestic: 1 day / international: ~10 days). Once it arrives, reply to your order email, DM me on Instagram, or text 0431 723 311 with your size.
If you’re ordering internationally and want to speed things up, visit a local jeweller to get sized instead of waiting for the sizer to arrive.
Packaging.
Everything ships in premium sustainably sourced buckram cardboard packaging. No plastic bags, no invoices in the box (so you can gift it directly if you want). Each order includes:
