Sometimes things don't go as planned...
Incorrect Size
The course of action depends on whether the ring is too small or too large. If it’s too small, just send it back and I’ll size it up for free. If it’s too large, I’ll have to charge you a $60 resizing fee, since I’ll need to cut the ring open, remove metal, and solder it back together. This is fairly time consuming, hence the fee.
Defective Product
This shouldn’t ever happen since I carefully check every ring that goes out to make sure it’s perfect. But I’m not always perfect. If your piece has any quirks you think shouldn’t be there, let me know and send me a some photos. If it looks like a workmanship problem I’ll issue an immediate full refund or replacement upon return postage.Â
Change of Mind
I’d love to offer change of mind refunds simply for your convenience, but unfortunately as a small business it would be too costly. Producing a ring, especially a custom one like Forsaken is very expensive in terms of production time. Since order volume isn’t too high yet, any stock of any given ring in a specific size is likely to sit there for a while and not sell. HOWEVER, just because I like you, if you decide you’re not happy with your piece I’ll give you a 100% refund in store credit with the only condition being that you send the product back.
I put a lot of effort into Urban Sterling, so your experience is genuinely important to me. At the same time I’m aware that new businesses can have growing pains and problems that occasionally might result in issues on your end.
