When choosing a necklace, length is a key factor for both style and comfort. Here’s a breakdown to help you make the perfect choice:
Lengths
- 50cm: Ideal for most men and a slightly longer option for women. Sits high on the chest, ensuring comfort.
- 40-45cm: A good standard length for women. May fit like a choker on larger necks. Not typically worn with pendants and can flip over T-shirt collars.
- 60cm: Hangs low and suits various neck sizes. Quite often worn with pendants over the top of a shirt.
- 70cm and Beyond: These are quite long, often reaching the bottom of the sternum, especially if you don’t have a large neck. They’re usually worn over a shirt and pair well with pendants.

Important Style Considerations
- With Collars: Long necklaces might not sit well over the top of a button up shirt. A shorter chain, like 50cm for most men and 45cm for most women, is advisable.
- Without Collars: Avoid very short (40cm for women, 45cm for men) necklaces as they can flip over and under the neckline – it looks kinda messy.
- Under Shirts: Thicker, longer chains with pendants can create a bulge. Opt for thinner or shorter chains or wear them over your top.
- Over Shirts: Longer chains are more suitable, they get a bit further away from the neckline which helps avoid a cluttered appearance
- Versatility: An adjustable necklace can change length, making it suitable for different outfits.

I offer change of mind returns for store credit. If your piece has any quirks you think shouldn’t be there, let me know and send me a some photos. If it looks like a workmanship problem I’ll issue an immediate full refund or replacement upon return postage.
Bought the wrong size? The course of action depends on whether the necklace is too small or too large. If it’s too large, just send it back and I’ll size it down for free. If it’s too small, send it back ASAP for a replacement. Alternatively you could purchase a necklace extender which will allow you to lengthen the piece anywhere from 1cm-10cm.

What are your shipping times?
- Rings/Pendants: 7-12 business days (Australia), around 15 days (international).
- Bracelets/Necklaces: 3-4 business days (Australia), about 12 days (international).
- Buy now, size later orders begin production as soon as you notify me of the size you need.
- I’ll email you updates at every stage of production.
Do you include physical invoices in packages?
No I don’t. All invoicing is done via email, so if your order is a gift you can ship it directly to the recipient’s address or give them the entire package so they can unbox it themselves.
Will your chains turn my skin green?
No they won’t. This occurs when rings are made of low quality materials and plated to look like silver. Copper, for example, will produce the green finger effect. Argentium silver is the highest quality silver alloy available, so it won’t have this effect.
Sustainable Metal Sourcing: I use Argentium silver for my rings, a 100% sustainably sourced and recycled metal produced by the Argentium Company, ensuring ethical and environmentally friendly practices.
Certified Suppliers: Palloys, the only Australian casting company certified by LBMA, OECD, and World Gold Council, supplies metals that comply with strict ethical standards, including the RJC certification for responsible jewellery practices.
Australian Labor and Manufacturing: I use exclusively Australian labor and manufacturing for all aspects of production, maintaining slavery-free supply chains and supporting the local economy, with the exception of FSC-certified packaging from Denmark and certain parts of my chains that are handmade in Italy.

The Slate necklace is a rugged and utilitarian statement piece. Slate is a dark grey rock that is easily broken up into sharp, flat chunks, reflecting the style of the links from which the piece is made. The chain is designed to be sturdy and heavy to take years of punishment and reflect your bold personality.
The Slate is unisex, however its 4.2mm width and solid link style lends itself to thicker and broader male necks. If that’s you, you’ve found your chain. When styling, consider keeping metals cohesive; mixing silver and gold can sometimes create a cluttered look.
Complete your look with the matching Slate Bracelet, designed to complement the necklace perfectly.
The piece is made from thick links that have been twisted and flattened to closely lock together. It’s crafted from 925 sterling silver, coated in a tarnish resistant layer to more closely replicate the durability and resilience of my 940 Argentium silver rings.
These chains are ready to ship, you can expect to receive yours in around 2-5 business days depending on how close you are to Newcastle, NSW.
