When choosing a necklace, length is a key factor for both style and comfort. Here’s a breakdown to help you make the perfect choice:
Lengths
- 50cm: Ideal for most men and a slightly longer option for women. Sits high on the chest, ensuring comfort.
- 40-45cm: A good standard length for women. May fit like a choker on larger necks. Not typically worn with pendants and can flip over T-shirt collars.
- 60cm: Hangs low and suits various neck sizes. Quite often worn with pendants over the top of a shirt.
- 70cm and Beyond: These are quite long, often reaching the bottom of the sternum, especially if you don’t have a large neck. They’re usually worn over a shirt and pair well with pendants.

Important Style Considerations
- With Collars: Long necklaces might not sit well over the top of a button up shirt. A shorter chain, like 50cm for most men and 45cm for most women, is advisable.
- Without Collars: Avoid very short (40cm for women, 45cm for men) necklaces as they can flip over and under the neckline – it looks kinda messy.
- Under Shirts: Thicker, longer chains with pendants can create a bulge. Opt for thinner or shorter chains or wear them over your top.
- Over Shirts: Longer chains are more suitable, they get a bit further away from the neckline which helps avoid a cluttered appearance
- Versatility: An adjustable necklace can change length, making it suitable for different outfits.

I offer change of mind returns for store credit. If your piece has any quirks you think shouldn’t be there, let me know and send me a some photos. If it looks like a workmanship problem I’ll issue an immediate full refund or replacement upon return postage.
Bought the wrong size? The course of action depends on whether the necklace is too small or too large. If it’s too large, just send it back and I’ll size it down for free. If it’s too small, send it back ASAP for a replacement. Alternatively you could purchase a necklace extender which will allow you to lengthen the piece anywhere from 1cm-10cm.

What are your shipping times?
- Rings/Pendants: 7-12 business days (Australia), around 15 days (international).
- Bracelets/Necklaces: 3-4 business days (Australia), about 12 days (international).
- Buy now, size later orders begin production as soon as you notify me of the size you need.
- I’ll email you updates at every stage of production.
Do you include physical invoices in packages?
No I don’t. All invoicing is done via email, so if your order is a gift you can ship it directly to the recipient’s address or give them the entire package so they can unbox it themselves.
Will your chains turn my skin green?
No they won’t. This occurs when rings are made of low quality materials and plated to look like silver. Copper, for example, will produce the green finger effect. Argentium silver is the highest quality silver alloy available, so it won’t have this effect.
Sustainable Metal Sourcing: I use Argentium silver for my rings, a 100% sustainably sourced and recycled metal produced by the Argentium Company, ensuring ethical and environmentally friendly practices.
Certified Suppliers: Palloys, the only Australian casting company certified by LBMA, OECD, and World Gold Council, supplies metals that comply with strict ethical standards, including the RJC certification for responsible jewellery practices.
Australian Labor and Manufacturing: I use exclusively Australian labor and manufacturing for all aspects of production, maintaining slavery-free supply chains and supporting the local economy, with the exception of FSC-certified packaging from Denmark and certain parts of my chains that are handmade in Italy.

4.2mm curb chain in Italian 925 sterling silver with anti-tarnish coating.
This is a proper chain. Solid curb links doing what they’ve done well for decades. At 4.2mm, it’s the kind of weight you notice putting on and appreciate wearing.
The curb pattern is pure repetition. Consistent machined perfection with each link twisted and flattened to sit flat against your chest. When it catches light, it catches a lot.
I reach for this when I want presence without ostentation. The interest comes through sheer quality and weight. It’s a unique middle-ground of thickness where it doesn’t make you look like a rapper, but is thick enough to not be subtle.
Anti-tarnish coating attempts to more closely replicate the durability and tarnish resistance of my 940 Argentium silver rings.
Unisex technically, but at 4.2mm and 0.4g / cm it does read more masculine. If you’re built broader and want something that matches that presence, this is it. Some chains snap because they use hollow tubing. I only stock solid link chains that I have personally stress-tested. If I wouldn’t wear it, I won’t sell it.
Pairs with the matching Slate Bracelet if you’re committed to the look.
