What is Argentium Silver
Argentium Silver is essentially a modern, upgraded version of sterling silver, which was “invented” in the 1300s by King Edward the first. Although the history behind this alloy is rich and fascinating, in my experience sterling silver leaves something to be desired in terms of appearance and durability. Will your rings turn my finger green?
No they won’t. This occurs when rings are made of low quality materials and plated to look like silver. Copper, for example, will produce the green finger effect. Argentium silver is the highest quality silver alloy available, so it won’t have this effect.

I offer change of mind returns for store credit. If your piece has any quirks you think shouldn’t be there, let me know and send me a some photos. If it looks like a workmanship problem I’ll issue an immediate full refund or replacement upon return postage.
Bought the wrong size? The course of action depends on whether the ring is too small or too large. If it’s too small, just send it back and I’ll size it up for free. If it’s too large, I’ll have to charge you a $60 resizing fee, since I’ll need to cut the ring open, remove metal, and solder it back together. This is fairly time consuming, hence the fee.

This ring is for the Lunar Guardians; someone who feels a profound connection to the moon and its cycles, seeing in themselves the qualities of protection, care, and guidance for the natural world and their own inner wilderness. Lunar Guardians are intuitive, deeply tied to the rhythms of nature, and embody an independent spirit that is both nurturing and fierce, similar to the Greek god after whom the piece is named.
Artemis is a rounded band featuring a reversible design, made in collaboration with Paranjal K. One side is engraved with a moon and stars, and the other with a crescent moon pierced by arrows. In between the two main elements are stag antlers and a hunting torch. The engravings are tied together by two continuous flowing lines, that connect to each symbol as they go around, creating a unified aesthetic. On the inside of the piece “Artemis” is engraved, as well as the Urban Sterling signature and metal certification.
This piece draws its name and inspiration from Artemis, the revered Greek goddess associated with the hunt, the moon’s motion, the wilderness, and wild animals. Artemis, born to Zeus and Leto, held a significant place among the deities of ancient Greece. She’s often referred to as “She of the Wild” or “The Mistress of Animals.
As a goddess of the hunt, Artemis is often represented by a bow and arrows, but also the moon. This is because she is said to ride on the moon between hunts – hence the lines tying the different elements of the piece together. One side features the moon with arrows, representing Artemis riding the moon to a hunt, and the other side shows the moon with stars around it, representing Artemis riding the moon away.
Artemis is forged from 940 Argentium Silver using techniques dating back over 6,000 years. Each piece is made to order and handcrafted by me. The ring comes with a certificate of authenticity in a wax-sealed envelope so you know it’s the real deal.
