What is Argentium Silver
Argentium Silver is essentially a modern, upgraded version of sterling silver, which was “invented” in the 1300s by King Edward the first. Although the history behind this alloy is rich and fascinating, in my experience sterling silver leaves something to be desired in terms of appearance and durability. Will your rings turn my finger green?
No they won’t. This occurs when rings are made of low quality materials and plated to look like silver. Copper, for example, will produce the green finger effect. Argentium silver is the highest quality silver alloy available, so it won’t have this effect.

I offer change of mind returns for store credit. If your piece has any quirks you think shouldn’t be there, let me know and send me a some photos. If it looks like a workmanship problem I’ll issue an immediate full refund or replacement upon return postage.
Bought the wrong size? The course of action depends on whether the ring is too small or too large. If it’s too small, just send it back and I’ll size it up for free. If it’s too large, I’ll have to charge you a $60 resizing fee, since I’ll need to cut the ring open, remove metal, and solder it back together. This is fairly time consuming, hence the fee.

The Fall of Icarus is a vertical rectangle signet ring engraved with a depiction of Icarus’s fall from ancient Greek mythology. The piece is crafted in such a way that it works as a canvas for precise and detailed engraving. On the inside of the ring, the name of the piece is engraved, along with a depiction of two hands reaching out for each other. The face of the ring is pretty thin, so it won’t be bulky on your finger despite the size.
The myth of Icarus’s Fall is an ancient story, written to serve as a warning on the dangers of hubris. Key elements of the story are reflected in the design of the piece, including the sun, ocean, olive branches, and Icarus himself.
The story is as follows: Icarus’ father, Daedalus, crafts them wings made of feathers and wax, so that they may both fly away and escape the island of Crete, where they are held captive by King Midas.
Before they take flight, Daedalus tells his son “Let me warn you, Icarus, to take the middle way, in case the moisture weighs down your wings, if you fly too low, or if you go too high, the sun scorches them. Travel between the extremes.” However, Icarus is so awestruck by his new ability to fly that he does not heed his father’s advice. He flies too high, and the sun melts the wax holding together his wings, causing him to fall to his death.
