I do not build disposable things.
Most modern jewellery is designed to last a season. Urban Sterling rings are engineered to last a lineage.
The One Century Promise is a guarantee that the piece you buy today will still be wearable by the person who inherits it from you.
SCOPE OF PROTECTION
The warranty travels with the metal, not the receipt. If you pass the ring down, the protection passes with it.
Coverage Includes:

Structural Integrity: Repair of any casting defects, porosity issues, or structural failures.

Maintenance: Professional refinishing to remove scratches and restore the original oxidation/polish.

Resizing: If your body changes, the ring changes with you. (First resize is free, subsequent adjustments are at cost).

Total Replacement: If a piece cannot be restored to standard, it will be replaced.
THE ORIGIN
This standard comes from my grandfather. He wore the same gold pendant for 40 years. It didn’t survive because of luck; it survived because it was solid, heavy, and made without shortcuts. When I inherited it, it wasn’t just a piece of gold. It was an anchor. I build every Urban Sterling piece to that same standard. If it can’t handle 40 years of daily wear, it doesn’t leave my studio.
CLAIMS
Your order includes a warranty card with your unique order number and warranty period. Should your piece ever need attention:
- Contact me with your order details
- Ship your piece back (I’ll cover shipping back to you)
- I’ll restore, repair, or replace as needed
- Your refreshed piece will be returned, ready for the next chapter of its story
EXCLUSIONS
The One Century Promise covers the artifact against time, wear, and structural failure. It does not cover loss or abuse.
Loss: If you lose the ring, I cannot replace it. I can fix metal, but I cannot fix absence. I cannot distinguish between a ring that was dropped in the ocean and a ring that was “lost” to get a free duplicate. If I covered loss, one order could technically become five free rings. To keep my prices based on reality, I only cover the physical metal I can see and fix.
Abuse: These rings are tough, but they are not indestructible. If you run them over with a car or take a hammer to them, I can’t cover that. I can fix it, but it will have to be a paid repair.
