THE ONE CENTURY PROMISE This is not a standard consumer warranty. It is a 99-year service agreement designed to keep this piece in circulation for generations.
SCOPE OF COVERAGE:
Structural Integrity: If the metal cracks, snaps, or fails due to a craftsmanship defect, I repair or replace it. End of story.
Surface Restoration: If your piece accumulates decades of scratches or wear, ship it back to the studio. I will refinish, polish, and restore the surface to factory specifications,free of charge.
HEIRLOOM TRANSFER: The warranty travels with the metal, not the receipt. If you pass this ring down to your child in 30 years, the protection passes with it. As long as the “Urban Sterling” hallmark is visible, the contract is valid.
EXCLUSIONS: This contract covers the object, not the ownership. It does not cover theft or total loss.

The canvas for this piece is an antique oval signet from an unknown catalogue. Its previously plain face has been modified to feature an intaglio rose and foliage motif. The design is drawn from a vintage styling brochure in which it was curiously categorised as “Tulip.”
The face is finished with a two-tone polish, creating a textural contrast between the floral intaglio and the surrounding polished surface.
This ring represents a new chapter for an old object. What was once a blank slate has been permanently modified.
The archive recorded this design as “Tulip,” yet the relief clearly tells a different truth. This piece thrives on that divergence.
It stands as proof that a label is often nothing more than a poor guess made long ago.
