This is ring is a vault for two antique gemstones. Weighing in at a massive 24.5 of Argentium silver. The silhouette draws from Art Deco architecture, featuring an elongated hexagonal face and a multifaceted, tapered shank that catches light from every angle. The face features the Black Mace in relief, resting on a textured grid background.
Set into the shoulders are two geological miracles, sourced from the turn of the last century and faceted in the Old European Cut style. This antique cutting technique creates a deeper, warmer sparkle designed for candlelight rather than modern strobes.
-
The Fire: A 1.4ct Antique Burmese Ruby (Circa 1900). Graded as ‘Pigeon Blood’, the most desirable and rare red in existence.
-
The Ice: A 1ct Antique Sapphire (Circa 1910). A ‘Cornflower Blue’ stone offering a velvet-like saturation.
The legend says the Mace can only be wielded by friends. It is an object that rejects the solitary hero in favour of the united front. The inscription inside the band reads: I stand beside you against all manner of strife. It is an allegory for sacrifice. It speaks to the kind of friendship that stands shoulder to shoulder when the world becomes difficult.
