What is Argentium Silver
Argentium Silver is essentially a modern, upgraded version of sterling silver, which was “invented” in the 1300s by King Edward the first. Although the history behind this alloy is rich and fascinating, in my experience sterling silver leaves something to be desired in terms of appearance and durability. Will your rings turn my finger green?
No they won’t. This occurs when rings are made of low quality materials and plated to look like silver. Copper, for example, will produce the green finger effect. Argentium silver is the highest quality silver alloy available, so it won’t have this effect.

I offer change of mind returns for store credit. If your piece has any quirks you think shouldn’t be there, let me know and send me a some photos. If it looks like a workmanship problem I’ll issue an immediate full refund or replacement upon return postage.
Bought the wrong size? The course of action depends on whether the ring is too small or too large. If it’s too small, just send it back and I’ll size it up for free. If it’s too large, I’ll have to charge you a $70 resizing fee, since I’ll need to cut the ring open, remove metal, and solder it back together. This is fairly time consuming, hence the fee.

This ring is a tribute to Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, strategy, and warfare, and her sacred symbol – the owl. Known as a figure of both intellect and power, Athena’s legacy is celebrated through “The Owl of Athena” that embodies her duality as both a protector and a tactician.
The centerpiece of the ring is a coin-inspired face that features a detailed depiction of the Owl of Athena, framed by ancient Greek elements that evoke the wisdom and knowledge she represents. The owl is surrounded by the olive branch—a universal symbol of peace and victory—further emphasizing Athena’s role as a mediator and strategist. The “AOE” engraved on the coin of the Owl of Athena stands for “ΑΘΕ” (Alpha, Theta, Epsilon), which is an abbreviation of “ΑΘΕΝΑΙΩΝ” (Athenaion). This translates to “of the Athenians” in Greek.
Flowing from the coin face are 3D olive branches on the shoulders of the ring, seamlessly wrapping around to form a unified design. These branches represent the olive tree gifted to Athens by Athena herself, a symbol of prosperity, peace, and divine favor.
Engraved directly beneath the face of the ring are the words “Victory belongs to the wise,” an acknowledgment of Athena’s philosophy that intellect and strategy triumph over brute strength. This powerful sentiment is paired with the internal engraving “The Owl of Athena” along the inside of the shank, where a spear pierces through the text—a subtle nod to Athena’s warrior spirit. The ‘O’ in “Owl” is stylised as an owl’s eye, adding a personal touch of detail that ties the piece together.
To further honor Athena’s connection to ancient Greek warrior culture, two accent hallmarks flank the design: a Corinthian helmet symbolising her influence as a protector and tactician in warfare, and a shield representing protection and resilience.
Every detail in this piece is meticulously crafted, from the textured depth of the owl and olive branches to the burnished finish of the coin face, ensuring each ring feels like an artifact of wisdom and strength.
