This piece is physically complete and held in the Newcastle studio archive. It bypasses the standard production lead time and is prepared for dispatch within 24 hours.

THE ONE CENTURY PROMISE This is not a standard consumer warranty. It is a 99-year service agreement designed to keep this piece in circulation for generations.
SCOPE OF COVERAGE:
Structural Integrity: If the metal cracks, snaps, or fails due to a craftsmanship defect, I repair or replace it. End of story.
Surface Restoration: If your piece accumulates decades of scratches or wear, ship it back to the studio. I will refinish, polish, and restore the surface to factory specifications,free of charge.
HEIRLOOM TRANSFER: The warranty travels with the metal, not the receipt. If you pass this ring down to your child in 30 years, the protection passes with it. As long as the “Urban Sterling” hallmark is visible, the contract is valid.
EXCLUSIONS: This contract covers the object, not the ownership. It does not cover theft or total loss.

The Sartrean Reflection
This piece explores Jean-Paul Sartre’s existentialist philosophy, built around the idea that existence precedes essence. We are not born with meaning; we have to create it. A skull, framed by roses, symbolises memento mori. But, the roses suggest that beauty and meaning arise despite impermanence, reinforcing Sartre’s belief that purpose is self-made. The sharp geometric border contrasts with the organic forms within, representing the tension between imposed structure and raw existence. We crave order, but life resists being neatly contained.
The engraving challenges the wearer: do we define ourselves, or are we shaped by forces beyond us? Sartre argued that, in the absence of inherent meaning, we must take responsibility for creating our own.
This ring is an artifact of existential thought. A reminder that death is certain, but purpose is ours to define.
